Architectural Project Unit is one of the pioneers in the Greater Bay Area in implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) in building design and project management. In 2021, Kingdom Investment Corporation Limited formed partnership with Architectural Project Unit Limited to leverage its expertise in BIM for application in the context of smart city development. Africa Lab
Architecture and Urban Studies for Territorial Issues in Africa
Africa Lab is an academic initiative of the School of Architecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong that studies construction, urban planning, and infrastructural design solutions for the Africa region. In the academic years of 2022 and 2023, the School of Architecture and the Department of Geography have set up an architectural design research studio for urban renewal in Hargeisa and introduced smart infrastructure design and research courses for the Horn of Africa region.
